Japanese brand Cav Empt is exactly what you’d expect from messrs Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell, two of the creative minds that have previously been involved with the likes of Billionaire Boys Club, BAPE, and Ice Cream. It’s exactly the kind of futuristic streetwear you’d expect to see the best dressed kids in downtown Tokyo wearing too. It’s also right up our street at Proper too, we always get giddy over a quality bit of colour panelling, especially when it features colour palettes that remind us of our (misspent) youth. This made in Japan, super limited, tri-coloured, heavyweight beauty from Cav Empt is constructed from 100% cotton loop-back panels and features an adjustable two-layer hood, a kangaroo-pouch pocket, set-in sleeves and neatly ribbed trims. It’s also got a futuristic-y printed Ziggurat design on the back and a rubber stamp appliqué on the arm featuring a woman who looks like she’s about to have one of her migraines again.
