If you’re off to the alps this winter then why not bring a bit of colour to the slopes with this kaleidoscopic collaboration between Italian heritage brand Colmar and graphic design duo Van Orton Design. They’ve taken some key Colmar pieces and given them a thoroughly 1980s seeing to, using an appropriately Lichtenstein-ian flame reds, corn yellows and petrol blues to really bring them to life. The outerwear using extremely technical waterproof and breathable fabric, with a water-repellent and eco-sustainable Teflon EcoElite finish with pieces incorporating the Recco® system making them perfect for high altitudes adventures. Personally I just want to get some of this gear on and re-live my school trip to Muhlbach back in 1984 where we all lost our shit to Amadeus by Falco down on the local dancefloor.
