Converse have released the Renew Canvas Collection which is ideal for all us eco-conscious Converse fans. These iconic Chuck Taylor All Star have been made using 100% recycled polyester from used plastic bottles. The first iteration of Converse’s Renew Canvas showcases a new Converse strategy that aims to develop new, innovative and more sustainable ways of creating Converse products – starting with the Chuck Taylor All Star and Chuck 70. Using their newly developed rPET yarn that mimics the properties of their iconic cotton canvas in a range of vibrant colours the aim is to encourage the wearer to consider both the natural and manufactured world around them.
