New Balance recently celebrated 36 years of the legendary 990 series, and to mark the occasion, launched an exclusive pop up in collaboration with End Clothing.
First introduced in 1982 the 990’s were the first pair of trainers to break the $100 mark. Utilising superior textiles and techniques to justify the price tag, New Balance were able to achieve a truly innovative running shoe. Three decades later New Balance are still pushing progress (as well as price tags), currently on their 4th version of the 990.
To celebrate it’s legacy, the Boston based sportswear brand recently launched 1,500 pairs of the limited edition MADE 990v4 ‘1982’ at the original retail price of $100 in locations Worldwide.
