I’ve just been talking to my mate Tom from Working Class Heroes who was enthusing about the cold water surfing brand Finisterre they’re stocking this season. Though I’ve long been a fan of the brand and we’ve featured them in the mag a couple of times (including this issue here) his spot on description of them being ‘more Howies-meets-Patagonia than your usual Billabong surf kinda stuff‘ really struck a cord with me. Though Working Class heroes is based up in the Lakes where the only waves come courtesy of passing cabin boats, Tom and the team took to the rolling Cumbrian hills to put Finisterre through it’s paces with a resounding thumbs up from all concerned. Proving you don’t just have to be a salty sea-dog to be totally down with this ace gear.
