Whilst ‘Gädgaureh ’78’ may sound like the time and location where a game-changing Turkish funk scene sprang to life, it actually refers to a lake. A photogenic lake that can be found along the Kungsleden trail in northern Sweden as seen on this photo print that was taken in 1978 by renowned nature photographer Claes Grundsten. Framed in Fjällräven’s foxy silhouette and printed onto an organic cotton t-shirt Gädgaureh 78 now looks like a juxtaposed piece of contemporary art and/or the cover to 2020’s hottest techno album.
