The Gramicci and Taion collaboration is a low-key banger. It’s subtle: Gramicci are well known but Taion less so. The Japanese brand lives for and breathes Down, which explains why the entire collaboration revolved around vests, jackets and scarves all stuffed with feathers.
A key standout is this gilet, which glimmers in gold (okay, beige) with glorious square baffling. It’s water-repellent, lightweight, and, surprisingly for something made of down, packs into a small compact bag for travel.
It’s layerable and simple, effortlessly Japanese yet Gramicci-affirmed hardy.
