Gorillaz Launch First Capsule Collection

Since bursting onto the scene in 2001, Gorillaz have been defying just about every convention you can think of. Musically of course. But the virtual virtuosos also laugh in the face of the diktat that cartoons should always wear the same clothes. It’s no surprise to hear then that the band have broken into the world of fashion, launching the G Foot capsule collection for the fall.

Designed by Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett and under the creative direction of Remi Kabaka, the capsule is inspired by the band members’ own, ever evolving style. The collection includes iconic motifs such as Russel’s crane print kimono, 2D’s oversized hockey jersey, Noodle’s reversible gold satin jacket and Murdoc’s quilted bomber jacket with Pazuzu embroidery.

The collection extends to hoodies, t-shirts and sweatpants in which to DoYaThing.
