As the new season approaches so too does a wealth of new apparel from Sweden’s super progressive, boundary pushing, outdoor brand Haglöfs. The first piece to catch our eye is this Unisex ‘Edge Evo’ jacket that features a pattern known as ‘Kurbits’ that’s a legendary Swedish folk pattern popular in the area of Dalarna where Haglöfs originated.
Whilst the jacket itself takes it’s inspiration from a Haglöfs trekking jacket originally released in 1997. Whilst it was way ahead of it’s time back then, this 2019 version has been fully updated and now features long front and side zippers, an adjustable hood, and fluorocarbon-free DWR-treated surfaces to help repel water and dirt. It’s also been created using Haglöfs own PROOF™ fabric which is their most sustainable waterproof technology to date and delivers and incredible level of protection. Also available in true black and dense blue they’re a unisex anorak which makes it handy if you get caught out about buying a new jacket by your other half as you pretend you got it for them but just got the sizing wrong.
