It’s that time of year when the Finns pop their heads out of from the darkness of winter and try to coax spring out to play with some tastefully coloured pigskin suede trainers. For 2018 Karhu are presenting us with two new colourways of their Aria silhouette as well as a improving the shape by thinning it’s mono-sock construction and providing a more secure fit around the foot. These hikerdelic hybrids combine all the speckley mid-soled, climbing rope laced thrills of an outdoor shoes with the flex and attitude of a modern concrete crunching trainer to great effect. They’re the ideal hibernation exit shoe which is perhaps fitting given that the Karhu logo is a bear isn’t it?
The new Aria colours are released globally on February 10th at select retailers, Karhu.com and the Karhu Concept Stores in Helsinki and Boston.
