As the snow stars to cover our fair land, let’s take a peak into the future at what we’ll all be wearing next winter by way of Sir Nigel of Cabournshire’s AW13 collection shall we? As announced in Milan this weekend, Nigel has used fabrics from Lanificio Cerruti in this jaw-droppingly ace collection (that’s Nigel and Nino Cerruti in the photo above btw). Perhaps the most impressive of these sumptuous fabrics is the 750 gr. 100% cashmere which has been produced in vintage colours like orange and army green and can be seen on the Lord Montgomery coat (as worn by the model with Nige & Nino). The collection itself celebrates the sixtieth celebration of Edmund Hillary’s 1953 ascent of Everest as well as well as featuring the usual exquisite early twentieth century references that we’ve come to expect from Mr C, including a stunning ventile Aircraft jacket. Molto bene! As they say in the North East.
