To mark their milestone of fifty years Lavenham have launched a special 12 piece, limited edition anniversary collection that includes iconic quilted outerwear alongside new products such as skirts and trousers. Hero pieces within this collaboration being the Souvenir jacket and gilet, complete with an embroidered Oxlip, country flower of Suffolk and the place where every single Lavenham product is proudly still made since being founded in 1969.
Whilst by 1972 the brand introduced diamond-quilted gilets and jackets to the range with the philosophy of making the highest quality quilted gilets and jackets. Already thinking ahead for the next 50 years, Lavenham have been researching into all areas of sustainability. With their wadding already using 65% of recycled PET bottles, the brand is exploring recycled yarn for both their WR polyester outer fabric and polyester taffeta lining.
