This is a mint sweatshirt in ever sense of the word, zesty, fresh, immaculate and it’s a wonderful light green colour. Made by Levi’s answer to Time Team the LVC crew are steadily making the Bay Meadows sweatshirt an indispensable part of their archive armoury that’s up there with their iconic numbered jeans. Being a faithful reproduction of a twentieth century Levi’s piece the devil is always in the details with LVC and for this sweat it’s all about the saddle sleeves that are basically a raglan sleeve design that curves at the underarm but goes much wider at the shoulder. From a functional perspective I’ve no idea why this shape exists but frankly from an aesthetic viewpoint it looks great, so who cares?
