Via their shared love of Basketball the Maison Kitsuné co-founders and creative directors Gilsa Loaec and Masaya Kuroki have managed to secure a collaboration with the NBA. Resulting in an NBA-inspired ready-to-wear capsule collection, double vinyl music compilation and an North American tour. The collab also features the NBA’s, red, white and blue iconic logo man appearing in black and white with Kitsune’s logo having been revamped using the NBA’s taller, leaner typeface. Whilst I know very little about American sports I really think those funky French men have hit a home run for fashion, music and sports with this collab….. which is a good thing right?
