Though it may be the old school appeal that first drew our eye to the new Merrell Heritage range we can categorically state that they also stand up to the job when it comes to doing some hardcore hiking in them. We know this because of Proper magazine’s recent Swedish adventure in issue 20 which involved us trekking around some beautiful countryside and a up a 1,420 metre mountain known as Åreskutan with wearing a pair of Eagles from Merrell’s Heritage Range. In fact it was thanks to our Merrell footwear that we had a truly incredible experience taking in the breath-taking views and pushing our physical limits without any trips, slips or nasty blisters at the end of the day, despite the serious amount of distance that we’d covered.
