I love that Mt. Rainier Design have themed their next season’s collection around the type of sweet garb Herbie Hancock would wear on Bonfire night, conjuring up a strong ‘Safety in the Seventies’ or ‘Releasing Rockets to Rockit’ aesthetic . In all seriousness though it’s another resounding hit from the mighty Japanese brand who always manage to deliver the goods when it comes to making their vintage American outdoor style clothing look like it’s been Fedex-ed directly in from the year 2027. Extra marks are awarded to MRD for also using a model who can crack a smile too, loads more laughing in your photo shoots everyone please. This is truly marvellous stuff.
