If you were to make a comparison between trainers and soft drinks, we’d liken the New Balance 991’s to one of those glass bottles of Fanta lemon you get on holiday. From their technical ingenuity taken from the world of running to their impressive amount of colourways and, ‘coolest dad at the BBQ’ aesthetic, we may never know the answer to our soft drink-based quarrels, but we think it’s pretty clear why the 991 still remains one of the most popular models in sneaker circles. Seriously though why do they taste so much better?
