NikeLab x Stone Island

There’s an incredible atmosphere in the Proper magazine offices right now, we’ve just sold out our latest mugs in record time, we’re releasing a t-shirt we’ve been meaning to make for over four years tomorrow and we’ve just found out that two of our favourite brands are going out with each other. Nikelab and Stone Island’s metaphorical hand holding has resulted in a stunning take on the classic Nike Windrunner which has been made using S.I.’s  legendary water and wind-resistant Mussola Gommata fabric. Not only that but this monochromatic jacket also features Nylon Metal, a proprietary Stone Island fabric with a wonderful metallic sheen effect, that’s been lined with PrimaLoft to keep things warm without being bulky. As if that wasn’t enough the swoosh and the compass have also produced a pair of Air Mowabb inspired Nike Koth Ultra Mid SI Shoes also constructed using Mussola Gommata and looking perhaps like the only footwear worthy of being paired up with this immense jacket. In fact I’d go as so far to say that that red number could well be a late contender for ‘coat of the year’. It’s the most wonderful time of the year….
