Osprey UNLTD™ packs a lot of tech

The UNLTD AirScape® 68 and UNLTD Anti-Gravity 64 from Osprey are as futuristic as they sound.

If you’re looking for high-performance packs at the cutting-edge of technology, Osprey have got your back. The UNLTD AirScape® 68 and UNLTD Anti-Gravity 64 are an industry changing pack series, two-years in the making, that harnesses tech and materials previously untapped by the industry.

At the centre of the design is Carbon DLS™ 3D technology to engineer the pack’s lumbar – a first for a pack manufacturer. The result is Osprey UNLTD’s 3D-Printed Fitscape™ Lumbar which offers superior ventilation, fine-tuned cushion support, and an anti-slip surface grip to keep loads firmly in place while reducing manufacturing waste. The fabric sounds like something Batman would wear: a double rip 210D with UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) content. And a comfortable fit is assured with the Fit-On-The-Fly® adjustment feature in the shoulder straps, plus both packs come in men’s and women’s versions.

All-in-all a pretty serious pack, with a pretty serious price tag to boot. But then, this isn’t one for popping down to the shops with. Unless it’s that Kwik-E-Mart at the top of a mountain from the Simpsons.

Available from Osprey from 15 March.
