Our favourite French footwear brand are back for AW17 with some superb, city-centric chaussures to show us. Palladium’s Urbanity range is all about marrying up cutting-edge technical innovation with statement-making silhouettes and features chunky sole units that reference the aeroplane tyres Palladium once produced for the French aviation industry. Introduced earlier this year the autumn/winter version of the Crushion CVS has a moleskin canvas upper based on the classic Pampa Hi with an outsole crafted from rubber for durability and softer EVA for lightweight cushioning. Though somewhat different from the norm I like their urban/urbane aesthetic and the fact that they’ve got more sole than a Grimsby gospel choir.
