Proper Picks: Gear of the Week 21st – 27th October

What a week it’s been for big, well-made outerwear. Coat aficionados like Henri Lloyd and Nike ACG have all dropped unquestionable bangers, while there have been some equally impressive footwear releases too. There really is no excuse for dressing like a dweeb nowadays. As has become a regular occurrence, we use this time of the week to round-up some of our favourites. Some of the best bits, the highlights, the money shots. So sit back, relax and get ready to hide some deliveries from the other half…

Nike ACG Down Jacket
£319.00, END Clothing

Jacket, jacket, jacket. Nike ACG make mad jackets, but this bright yellow down jacket is one of their best yet. Look at it, what more do you want from a coat (apart from a hood)?
Novesta Trail Marathon
£99.00, Novesta

These are 100% Vegan. So vegan, which makes them pretty trendy if avocado is anything to go by. Which it isn’t. Novesta pride themselves on being an environmentally-friendly brand who actually cares. Not only do they care, they care and make these excellent caramel marathons.
Okhu Liner Jacket
£90.00, Okhu Studios

Very into these Liner Jackets from streetwear brand Okhu. Excellent to be worn with a tee, but also lightweight enough to be worn as a middle layer underneath a big, massive coat too.
Woolrich x Aime Leon Dore Work Vest
£315.00, Woolrich

Never used to get work vests, but now all I want is a Woolrich x Aime Leon Dore Work Vest. Middle layer, top layer or fucking solo layer, send one to the office.
Oi Polloi x Henri Lloyd Consort Jacket
£350.00, Oi Polloi

Oi Polloi has teamed up with Henri Lloyd to bring us a selection of coats that will be there or there abouts come the end of the season in the coat of the year awards. This white one is the best of the bunch for us.
Fred Perry x Miles Kane Bowling Shirt
£95.00, Fred Perry

Open collar, slimming vertical stripes and an iconic Laurel Wreath on the left breast? Lovely sutff. A bowling shirt of the highest proportion from Fred Perry and Wirral’s Mile Kane.

New Balance x Aries 991
£199, End Clothing

Arguably New Balance’s most iconic silhouette, the 991 has been reworked with Aries for this collection. There are two colourways in this collab, but the white, orange and lemon iteration does it for us.

Absolutely well into house plants.
