Rather appropriately given their military leanings, Realm & Empire’s latest collection has been made exclusively in Blackburn by a long serving clothing manufacturer who made specialist battle-dress for the British Army during both World Wars. Expanding from previous Made in England collections this season includes an authentic range of jackets and trousers all inspired by the IWM archives. If you’re currently enthralled in The Vietnam War ten-parter on BBC4 like myself then you’ll definitely appreciate the NVA jacket and the USMC jacket & utility pant combo that are in the collection. Though if you’re not hanging out in Da Nang there’s also some winter warmers in the form of an OG spec submariner roll-neck and some suitably chunky woollen Commando hats too. It’s a fantastic array of authentic apparel that given it’s quality and Made in England heritage is very reasonably priced too.
