If you’re a fan of the musical majesty of Bon Iver or Volcano Choir then you’ll probably already know a fair bit about their grammy winning frontman Justin Vernon but did you know he’s a big fan of Red Wings? As the first part of an ongoing series Red Wing Heritage are hooking up with various characters who wear their fantastic footwear and giving us a glimpse into their lives. Though this first short film is more about Justin than the shoes, he’s clearly a lifelong fan of the brand:
“Since I was a little kid my uncle and my dad wore Red Wing. With Red Wing, I always thought the form and the function were at the highest level. They last a long time, and they are made down the road and I think that that is important.”
