Ryan Adams Prisoner World Tour Gig Posters

I love Ryan Adams me. I got into him when he released Gold in 2001 and have been a fan ever since (If you don’t recognise 2015’s track-by-track cover of Taylor Swift’s 1989 as a stone-cold classic you’re using your ears wrong). If you haven’t listened to him I urge you to. Do it now. Loads of his albums are on whatever streaming site you choose. You could even buy a record!

Ryan’s spent most of this year touring round the world with his Unknown Band in support of his latest album Prisoner (which is brilliant obv). In a contemporary take on the traditional rock gig poster, the posters for Ryan’s gigs aren’t plastered-up on walls around the cities he’s playing, but can be found on Instagram, offering a more ‘direct-to-the-fans’ approach.

Designed by illustrator / designer Ivan Minsloff, the posters are in the classic style of US rock posters, with nods to Ryan’s obsession with cats, automobiles and the cities he’s playing. Prints of the posters are only available at Ryan’s gigs and as he’s finished his UK tour you’ll have to fly to the US to cop one, or just look at them on Instagram, that’s kinda the point.
