Having just spent an enjoyable couple of minutes watching this charming video from Snow Peak via the Triads twitter feed I’m now in the market for some of their incredible ‘local wear’ myself (even though I’ve no idea what that vid was really about). Though all their clothing is keaner than a katsu curry the most appropriate piece of local attire to my location is this immense Rain & Wind Resistant poncho. It’s a substantial but lightweight jacket that works on a totally practical level to fit over your other outerwear to protect your from the elements. However in Manchester I’m gonna wear mine over a sweat or a tee shirt for the rest of the foreseeable future whether its raining or not and teamed up with a pair of incredibly expensive shades.
