Just when you think New Balance can’t get any cooler then go and bring a pair of trainers out designed with cycling in mind, namely the all new NB CM600. These lightweight and breathable pieces of perforated perfection have just pulled up at Commonn store in suitably urabn brown and navy/olive colourways. What makes them particularly treader-friendly is their handy reflective underlay and the brilliant addition of a hideaway tongue pouch where you can tuck your laces into in order to avoid them wrapping around your chain or pedals. I’ve not ridden a bike since a regrettable incident in Amsterdam involving some mayonnaise-covered chips and a blind nun. These frankly gorgeous CM600s could be just what it takes to get me back in the saddle though.
