The M51 parka is a bonafide classic than no fans of 20th century militaria, 90s indie music or really great jackets in general should be without. Stan Ray have created a particularly brilliant one this season combining their US military supply know-how and their archive of deadstock fabrics to make something that looks exactly like it was worn in Korea or Vietnam that’s also fully waterproof thanks to it’s taped seams and nylon shell construction. The velcro patch on the arm is a nice touch too and adds a really nice counter culture vibe to the whole proceedings. Make jackets not war.
