I’ve literally just got off the plane from Bologna having been over there doing some top secret international fashion business for the next issue of Proper. And as you probably know this incredible Italian city is where the peerless Stone Island brand was created over forty years ago by the legendary Massimo Osti. Now I’m back in the UK, the compass on my S.I. radar has started spinning wildly and alerted me to the arrival of the Metal Watro and the Tinto Weft jackets over at Infinities. The lightweight, limited edition Watro with it’s metallic purple sheen and adjustable cuffs is a text-book example of Stone Island technology and attention to detail. As is the textured, burgundy Tinto Weft jacket with it’s fish-hook fasteners, full zip placket and secret pocket.
