The North Face have just released their ‘Retro Climbo’ capsule collection, a bold and beautiful range that’s routed in 1980s Californian climber culture. Evoking that magical decade when the clothes were as daring and boundary pushing as the mavericks who wore them. Key female pieces include the Kabe bodysuit and shorts alongside the city puffer and wind jacket. Whilst for the men of the mountains, the iconic Lhotse jacket combines with the side slack pants, with trail escape shoes completing the look. I love it when TNF revitalise their archive like this and hats off to whoever did the photo shoot as it’s bloody terrific.
