Originally created in 1991 in collaboration with big mountain ski legend and key member of the ‘Extreme team’ Scot Schmidt, TNF’s Steep Tech collection was way ahead of the curve and a real game-changer at the time. Constructed using high-performance fabrics and packed with a host of innovative features, Steep Tech was one of the brand’s first athlete-designed collections. Scot Schmidt’s skiing style redefined the sport, with big lines and huge drops, as too did the Steep Tech collection which started to shape the look for technical city wear back then and became an early favourite on the streets.
