The North Face Steep Tech Fleece

Those with their finger on the outdoor gear pulse will no doubt be aware of The North Face’s recent decision to revive their iconic Steep Tech series. Originally formed in 1991 after the brand joined forced with extreme skier Scot Schmidt, the diffusion line quickly gained notoriety for its bold retro colourways and utilitarian aesthetic, which evidently, are no more present than in this newest fleece arrival.

Arriving in the collection’s classic black, grey and yellow ensemble alongside more subdued offerings, the pull-over design comes made from a soft, sweat-wicking and quick-drying recycled fleece making it an ideal mid-layer for scenic strolls. Bolstered with water repellant overlays and an assortment of handy zip pockets, branding fans will be pleased to find classic monikers to both the chest and back whilst those not fond of the cold will no doubt relish at the sight of parallel waist adjusters.
