The colour yellow has been a significant one in the story of The North Face, it first appeared in1970 with the launch of Acapulco Gold, a colourway chosen used not only for the way it showed up in the mountains but to stand out wherever it was worn. ‘Summit Gold soon followed and yellow has gone on to feature on some of the brand’s most iconic pieces.
