Based on the size and style of Nigel’s first collab with Timex the ‘Nam ‘ watch for his third horological hook up with the iconic brand he’s paid homage to the immensely brave RAF flight crews of WWII. This cool kettle features Nige’s signature ‘Brioad Arrow’ design on a bright yellow dial, its colour being a nod to the high-visibilty life vests worn by the RAF. Whilst the strap is made from Ventile (with an inter-changeable leather option included) the miracle material from Manchester that was used to make the immersion-suits to help crew members to survive after being downed in icy waters. In fact it was reckoned that after their introduction in the middle of the war that these game-changing suits extended survival time from 2 to over 20 minutes and thus saved countless lives. Additional attention to detail comes via a military style issue stamp on the back of the timepiece with the limited edition watched being presented in a survival-yellow branded vintage-style cotton drill case with text that details the inspiration behind this bright and beautiful design.
