Inspired by twentieth-century counter-culture and American psychedelia TSPTR have named this smock after the notorious desert area of Southern California/Nevada due to its mesmerising effect on the mind. This being the perfect smock to throw on once the sun goes down in bat country. It’s also based on a 1940s US Navy gunners smock which also became the jacket du jour of 1960s dry lake ‘hot rodders’ out in the Mojave.
