Celebrating their 190th-year legendary American outerwear brand Woolrich have released an Arctic Parka Capsule collection that’s divided into three distinct categories of Eco, Luxe, and Tech this season. The Luxe Arctic Parka is crafted from charcoal wool tweed with uncompromising performance thanks to the Storm System technology by Loro Piana and a generous filling of insulating duck down.
Whilst the Tech Arctic Parka embodies Woolrich’s powerful, progressive, and functional aesthetic via a clever 3-in-1 construction that combines an external layer made from breathable, wind, and waterproof Gore-Tex with a quilted and padded detachable vest that can be worn separately. Reinforced with a Graphene membrane for extra warmth and anti-bacterial protection, it’s also conveniently equipped with a detachable hood and internal shoulder straps, which allow you to carry it as a backpack when not in use.
Whereas the Eco-Friendly Byrd Cloth Arctic Parks is an archive-inspired, modern-day innovation that’s fashioned from 100% organic Byrd Cloth cotton. A modern-day version of the fabric used to outfit Admiral Byrd’s expeditions to Antarctica in 1939 that’s been specially treated for a water-repellent finish. Filled with recycled duck down padding and featuring a recycled lining and buttons, it’s kitted out with a host of progressive features. Discover the AW20 Woolrich Arctic Parka Series here.
