We have to take our titfers off to the witty chaps down at Duffer, for their latest photo- shoot they’ve done something of a British parody of the vintage preppy look favoured by lots of popular brands over the last few years. Instead of using uber-perfect models in a beautiful setting Duffer have gone for a gang of characters from London’s acting and music scenes, who may not have perfect teeth or skin but are top of the list when it comes to having bags of character and talent in spades. Shot by Neil Bedford at the Holland Park Tennis club and styled by Gary Aspden and Stephen Mann this cheeky (back)spin on ‘the heritage shoot’ is a fair representation of the label itself; in that they don’t take themselves too seriously or have to rely on their former glories to help sales.
