It’s been a while since we did a Proper Picks -mostly because we’ve been drunk since the summer officially started – but as it happens there’s been a tonne of decent releases this week, alongside some we probably missed recently too. Without further ado, here’s some top gear to spend all your money on…

£95.00, Pretty Green
Our mates Veras and Pretty Green have joined forces to bring us a range of mint, suede boots that are perfect for summer. Remember to Crep Protect them, mind. Chilli sauce is a right bastard to get out.

£135.00, Oi Polloi
These are the Trent Drawstring Trousers from Albam. As you can tell, they’re a particularly relaxed pair of pants ideal for any leisurely activity you can think of. They’re made of a seldom-seen fabric called Bedford cord, which is basically a Shreddies-esque ripstop fabric that used to be favoured by carpenters back in the glory-days of work-wear. They’ve also got a drawstring for unrivalled comfort.

£159.95, Nike.com (from 15th August)
These are currently only available to Nike Members right now, but they’re so good we thought it was worth sharing now. Lairy to the eye, these Joyride Flyknits feature a mad, high-tech beaded system in the sole that makes them great for running and doing anything else but running. They come out globally on August 15th.

£40.00, Hidden Mangroves
Hidden Mangroves are cool. They are just cool people making cool clothes. Their New Life Tee has been restocked recently, because it’s that cool. More cool people wanted to wear it.

£120.00, Clarks Originals
Nothing quite compares to Wallabees – boots or low – and their new Burnt Orange colourway makes them look even better. You can never have enough Clarks, that for sure.

£55.00, sixeightsevensix.com
Our mate behind 6876 only makes decent gear and this yellow Balmoor tee is certainly proof of that. Using decent material that doesn’t go shite after one wash, 6876 is a brand you can rely on.

£130.00, PresentedBy
Not often a massive fan of SBs, yet Nike’s collab with Parra sees some SBs we can get behind. A modest silhouette with some lairy features. Beautiful.

£35.00, END Clothing
Collaborating for the second time, Armor Lux and United Arrows bring us another collection of striped tees in an array of colours. This orange and white paneled one is our favourite of the bunch, although it’d be no chore to own all of them… (send us some)

€56.00, Novesta
A slightly different take on the brand’s iconic Star Master, this time for the no-laces-heads. 100% vegan and environmentally friendly, these slip-ons are perfect for the summer, especially for those of us that find it mega tiring bending down to do laces.
