Having included a nice piece on Ark Air in Proper 18, I’m kind of all over camo at the moment. I’m all over it, like a rash. But a nice rash. One that is made up of shapes which disguise the carrier in a number of settings.
No idea where I’m going with this.
Actually, when these new Originals NMD popped into my inbox this morning I was impressed. The thing with adidas Originals until fairly recently is they had such an amazing, vast back catalogue of groundbreaking shoes, they could be forgiven for spending life in the bus lane. But in recent years, their DNA seems to have returned to the fore, with Boost technology, and various reminders of their 1990s Equipment heyday. The whole brand was founded on innovation, so it’s nice that they’re tantalisingly topping the tightrope between nice looking footwear you can wear to go and do the post run in, and a pair of trainers that are actually a decent option for your morning jog. It doesn’t matter that the closest thing I’ve got to a pair of Boost is when I bought a biscuit Boost (from Boots) recently. I really must get back to the gym.
I’ve asked if they’ll send me a pair anyway.
