Fresh creates a cool capsule with Paul and Shark

Based to the north of Milan, Varese is a city worth celebrating on its own. Benefiting from its proximity to Milan Malpensa airport, it’s the home to big names like Vibram and Missoni. More interesting to us though is Paul and Shark.

Founded in 1975 by the Dini family, Paul & Shark means different things to different people. It has that unique Italian luxury feel which can be seen in some elements of Stone Island, certainly the yachting influences. But it’s much more than that. The high quality always associated with their gear made it resonate with those who wouldn’t know port from starboard and in the 90s its popularity peaked here in the North West of England, and remained strong in the following years, right up until today.

Still owned and run by the founding family, Paul & Shark recently invited Turin’s Fresh Store to visit their brand HQ by Andrea Dini, with a view to working together on a very special collaborative project.

Taking inspiration from the 1980s gear in the archive, Fresh put together a stunning capsule that fits both the heritage of Paul & Shark and the contemporary feel Fresh brings to the Italian market.

Though the brand has its roots in seafaring schmutter, the Paul & Shark Heritage Pack is infinitely wearable, whether you’re in town avoiding buying festive gifts or parading around the pub in your Saturday Best.

It’s a two piece seasonal essential and possesses all the cool characteristics we have come to expect from Fresh’s brand collaborations.
