We’ve previously discussed our love for the mouthful that is the ASICS x Kiko Hs4-S HS4-GEL-SONOMA 15-50 GTX, but back then, there was only one colourway. Now, there’s Aruba Blue/Blue Graphite.
Kiko and ASICS’ relationship has been long and fruitful, from the GEL-Sokat to the UB1-S GEL-Kayano 14. The Central St. Martins graduate is largely credited with taking running shoe silhouettes and introducing them to the serious world of the runway, and bringing exciting colourways to the slightly boring world of tech-infused outdoors gear.
Now, ASICS have collaborated with Kiko for the HS4-GEL-SONOMA 15-50 GTX, borrowing inspiration from cross-country spikes and working in a GORE-TEX membrane. The colour palette, with various shades of blue, flirts with the openness of deep water and coral reefs.
The outsole is detailed with the same construction as the GEL-SONOMA and delivers both cushioning and traction with every stride.
