Born in Imabari, Japan, Thing Fabrics takes the local tradition of pile fabric production and weaves it into desirable, comfortable clothing. Known for being THE place to get your towels manufactured, there are reputedly more than 200 factories in the region which specialise in this product. The reason Imabari is such a good location for this sort of fabric is the soft water, which is kind to the yarn and material during the production process.
