It’s here, the collaboration we’ve all been waiting for. Mentioned in and around the industry with excited yet hushed tones, the outdoor duo have married the best bits of each other to bring something fresh to the (picnic) table.
Both brands are HQ’d in Japan and it is those shared values and culture that bleeds into every stitch of this partnership.
Purple features prominently throughout the range, inspired by the morning glow of the Yosemite mountains, a place close to the heart of both brands. Gramicci was born out of Yosemite’s climbing scene in the 1980s before relocating to its current home of Japan. The outdoors has always been the key driver behind and wander’s output, with their own manifesto citing “The pleasure of playing in the mountains” at the heart of its philosophy.
This is no capsule collection in the style of the 3 or 4 piece releases other brands release either. It’s pretty extensive, with jackets, tees, headwear, sweats, bags, trousers and shorts all featuring. They’ve gone the whole hog and done a proper job on it.
