KEEN continues to burrow its way into our heart as well as occupying our feet. The longstanding appreciation for the UNEEK in particular here in the Proper office remains as strong as ever, so when they told us about this new project around that silhouette we demanded (politely) to know more.
Working with Mita Sneakers and their creative director Eiichi Kuni, the UNEEK II CONVERTIBLE has been created. It combines the unique features of the UNEEK sandal with the practicality of the UNEEK Slide style. In doing so it maintains the essence of the original design, yet it has been updated with a movable heel strap and a natural cork footbed. The adjustable heel strap allows for versatility, transforming the shoe from sneaker to slip-on, making it suitable for a variety of occasions.
