Kestin teams up with Dreaded Path to test AW23 outerwear

A long-time favourite here on Proper, Kestin might just have stolen the show this season with a jacket that is so far up our street it’s almost in the next one. Not content with making attractive clothing, they’ve employed the team behind Dreaded Path to put it to the test, then document that process. This wasn’t a normal fashion shoot either, they headed to the Cairngorms for an overnight stay at Glas-allt-Shiel bothy then explored the mountains that overlook Lock Muick.

Launching tomorrow (20th October), this Outdoor Garments collection appears to have passed its test in the wild, with flying colours. Those colours being a fetching Navy and Orange on the Cuillin Jacket. This is probably the standout piece, but it’s not just for show. It has 650-fill-power of RDS down, with a recycled ripstop shell and a Pfc-free water repellent finish, making it a very sensible option for most of the weather conditions you’ll encounter this winter.
