Meyba & Warehouse Project Team Up for Exclusive One-Off Shirt

The function of a football shirt has long since transcended its original home on the pitch. Whether it’s supporters in the stands, old school football heads with an eye for heritage, or the new generation of design and culture-led types, who see the shirts as artefacts and items to wear as part of their everyday fashion choices.

While the big hitters aren’t slow to see this trend, cult brands like Meyba are arguably doing the best stuff. Having relaunched a couple of years back, their story continues via a link up with Manchester’s Warehouse Project.

To the uninitiated, Meyba first rose to prominence in the 80s, when it supplied kit to Barcelona in the era of Cruyff, Maradona and Lineker. The nostalgia associated with this era brings cultural relevance to their story, helping to cement Meyba’s place at the intersection between fashion and sport and in this case, music.

The MEYBA x The Warehouse Project football shirts will be exclusively available to purchase online from here from December 12th.
