I could go on for ages and ages about the 3 layered Gore-tex fabric, the taped seams, the carbon backed membrane and the various trans-seasonal properties of this lovely Norse Projects jacket but for me it’s all about it’s colour. The Fyn jacket comes in a marvellously vibrant red hue that’s eye-catching yet without being too flash, just like our favourite vintage outdoor jackets do. Appropriately enough this cardinal coloured coat is available from Aphrodite, the goddess of love (as well as one of the best menswear stores in the country) which perhaps explains why it makes my heart beat so fast every time I look at it.
