Oakley has just announced that one of its most disruptive designs, MUZM Mars X-Metal Leather, has returned for a limited drop.
Originally created back in the 90s, their Mars sunglasses were a response to Michael Jordan, then at the peak of powers. He challenged the brand to create something that’d turn heads and the Mars was born. Through Jordan’s image and eye for an endorsement, it instantly became part of the cultural zeitgeist, even making an appearance in the feature film Fight Club while being worn by Brad Pitt’s character, Tyler Durden.
And now it’s back.
Celebrating the same rebellious optimism of Oakley more than a quarter of a century later, the iconic Oakley MUZM Mars X-Metal Leather glasses will be available in limited quantities starting November 14th on Oakley.com, retail partners and in select Oakley stores.
