Reebok Classics: ‘Give Me Your Classics And I’ll Show You The Future’

It can’t have escaped your notice that Reebok Classics are making waves again.

And with several months worth of work culminating in this top film by the Rig Out lads it’s a good time to remind ourselves who invented trainers.

No, it wasn’t roguish Scousers on their way back from a European away. It was Reebok. In Bolton.

This film marries that clear sense of time and place with a more modern feel, linking the brand to the creative youth of today. Manchester and the areas which surround it – including Bolton – has long been in the cultural doldrums, looking backwards, not forwards. The scenes which are so celebrated wouldn’t have happened if everyone had stayed rooted in the past. Take the best of the past and make it your own in the here and now. In other words… Give Me Your Classics And I’ll Show You The Future.
