Stone Island Marina Prismatico Jacket Gets the Badge Out

Sometimes, getting the badge in simply isn’t necessary.

Crafted in Italy to Stone Island’s exacting standards, this creamy orange example of outerwear goodness arrives just in time for you to find your sea legs and head to the coast for summer. Stone Island’s Marina branding features instead of the familiar compass patch to the arm, so if you’re a ‘get the badge in’ type of guy, perhaps you might want to move onto something else. Then again, maybe it’s time you tried something different. While it doesn’t scream Stone Island via its arm badge, this is very much in keeping with the aesthetic of the brand founded by Massimo Osti in 1982.

Constructed from lightweight nylon ripstop fabric for both water repellence and wind resistance, this piece is built from fabric that benefits from being bonded to a glossy polyurethane film. This treatment further enhances the piece’s elemental protection; Grooves in the film offer a visual prismatic effect, hence the jacket’s name.
