Universal Works launches ‘Far from Memphis’ AW23 campaign

Another season looms into view and with it comes the opportunity to dive back into Universal Works, a brand that does autumn better than most. This time around UW takes an imagined American landscape, straight out of a Jim Jarmusch film and blends Jarmusch’s signature hapless anti-hero with effortless references to iconic rockabilly and early rock ‘n’ roll. In the spirit of Jarmusch’s influence, further inspiration is drawn from The Clash, whose appropriation of military clothing expressed their anti-establishment stance.

It’s another step forward by a brand that gets better each season.
